Return & Refund Policy

We at SHOPPINGSTRIP.COM.AU want to ensure our customers are 100% satisfied. So we have collaborated with all our Merchants, and have agreed upon the following Returns Policy which is in force, while the merchants trade via the SHOPPING STRIP Channel - regardless of what their individual return policies are.

The Policy is as follows

If you are unhappy with the products you purchased via SHOPPINGSTRIP.COM.AU, the Merchant you have purchased the product from, will offer you a full refund or exchange if you return the product in the following condition:

  • is in its’ original new condition and packaging
  • is not damaged
  • is returned within 14 days of delivery

Please note that an exchange or refund is not available on the following goods:

  • CDs
  • DVDs
  • Videos
  • Books
  • Computer Games
  • Perishable Goods (including all food items)
  • Underwear, Socks & Hosiery
  • Swimwear
  • Evening Wear
  • Cosmetics (including hair products)
  • Sale Items
  • Mobile Phone Ear Pieces
  • Jewelry
  • Personalized items

Amount Refunded

The amount refunded will depend on the reason for the return. If you have received:

  • a damaged product, we will refund both the product and postage cost.
  • a product which is not damaged, we will refund only the cost of the product.

Refunds will be processed, once the original item has been returned and verified.

SHOPPINGSTRIP.COM.AU can process a refund whether you are in Australia or overseas by crediting the credit card you used for the purchase.

Note:

  • Used items cannot be returned including defective items.
  • Any returns or exchanges missing a return form will be subject to a reduced credit/refund as well if not in its original packaging or in salable condition.
  • Shopping Strip is not responsible for lost or damaged returned items, therefore we urge you to insure all returns.
  • Sale and Online Clearance merchandise cannot be returned.
  • All returns are subject to an administration & restocking fee of up to 25% of the purchase price unless the item is defective.
  • All exchanges are subject to an administration & restocking fee of 10% of the purchase price.
  • All items are carefully inspected prior to shipping and upon receipt of return or exchange.
  • All exchange & return shipping charges are the sole responsibility of the customer unless the product is defective. Free shipping, if available, apply to the original purchase only.

Returning a Product for a Refund or Exchange

If you want to return a product to us for a refund or exchange, please email SHOPPINGSTRIP.COM.AU on returns@shoppingstrip.com.au and we will send you (via email or by post) a “return form” which you will fill in and return with the product you are returning.

You can then send the product and the return form to us. Refunds & exchanges can only be processed after the original item has been returned and verified.
